The Galleon is a multi-decked vessel with a large hold. It is the most heavily armed civilian craft, and, with two banks of 4 heavy laserball cannons, 2 medium carronades, and a ninth rear-facing heavy laserball cannon, could possibly serve as a warship for an independent world, or free port. The down side to the galleon is its slow speed, and the slow speed of its weaponry. These drawbacks make the galleon susceptible to smaller, faster, attack craft; craft pirates are in no short supply of. However, like its pirate counterpart, the civilian galleon has a very durable hull and can survive quite a beating.
